Thanks to a grant from the New Hampshire Women’s Fund (www.nhwf.org), Good News Garage is able to provide four deserving New Hampshire women with a reliable vehicle. Since receiving these funds, Good News Garage has awarded a donated and refurbished Toyota Sienna to Mary, a single mother of four who is employed full-time and a GMC Envoy to Theresa, a mother of six who has been struggling financially since a fire destroyed the family's home three years ago. Good News Garage New Hampshire will be awarding the next two donated cars later this spring.

Upon receiving her van, Mary wrote to the vehicle donor:

“Thank you so much for deciding to donate your van to the Good News Garage. This car will make such a big difference in my life and the lives of my four children. Without a car, getting to and from work, daycare and school (missing the bus means missing school) has been a nightmare. Getting this car the day before Christmas Eve is something I’ll never forget. Thank you a thousand times.”
