Good News Garage - Connecticut is honored to have been awarded a grant in the amount of $11,000 by The Wachovia Wells Fargo Foundation. The mission of The Wachovia Wells Fargo Foundation is to build strong and vibrant communities, improve the quality of life and make a positive difference. In keeping with both the foundation's mission and the mission of Good News Garage the money will be used to support and grow the Connecticut JumpStart program.

Clients approved under the Jumpstart program are invited to purchase a GNG vehicle at a cost significantly below fair market value. Grant funds may be used to assist clients with this cost as well as other costs associated with purchasing a vehicle such as registration and insurance.

This is the fourth year Good News Garage has been awarded a grant from the foundation. Many JumpStart clients have benefited and many more will continue to benefit thanks to the continued support of The Wachovia Wells Fargo Foundation.
