Volunteering

Good News Garage relies on the generosity of many volunteers who donate their time and talents in support of our programs. Volunteers help in a number of ways including picking up and delivering donated cars, staffing events in the community, and providing office assistance.

Two positions that currently need volunteers in both Burlington, VT and Manchester, NH:

Office/reception support

• Answer the phones
• Enter donation information into the database
• File documents
• Review folders to ensure they are complete and accurate

Drivers for donated vehicles

• Must be able to drive a motor vehicle safely and legally
• Must have a basic understanding of vehicle functionality
• Evaluate “readiness” of program vehicles
• Communicate information about vehicle performance and concerns
